THIS WEEK AT CONNECTING POINTE

The Good Life Halfsy is this Sunday. The race starts at 8:30 am at Seacrest Field and goes down South street in front of the church. You can see a map of detours and road closures HERE to plan your route to church.

The Featured Community Partner for the month of October is Bubba's Closet at Belmont Elementary School. Every year, the Lincoln Public Schools Elementary Principals Network organizes and distributes winter clothing through the Bubba’s Closet event. Last year, over 1,300 pre-school and elementary students requested coats for the winter.

They are in need of Children's Winter Coats (sizes 4T to Youth XL), Hats, and Gloves.

*All items must be new with the tag attached*

You can drop off your donations in the bin outside of the office. If you prefer that we do the shopping for you, can give financially HERE

Please mark your donation Featured Community Partner.

**A NOTE FROM THE CHURCH BOARD**

October is Pastor Appreciation Month and therefore a great time to share our appreciation and honor for all that they do. There is a designated table in the lobby where you can drop off your cards. Please join us in paying a special tribute to these amazing leaders of our church.

Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is asking for monetary support for emergency relief following Hurricane Helene and the massive flooding in the Southeast. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries partners with local Nazarene churches in the affected communities to provide immediate relief, offering essentials like food, clean water, and shelter. If you would like to donate toward their efforts, please visit https://give.ncm.org/donate/140055
